Op zich niet verwonderlijk gezien de recente, grote aandrang en zelfs vechtpartijen die bij de stenen vestiging in Beijing plaatsvond. Apple stopte toen de verkoop in de vestigingen in Beijing en Shanghai.
De iPhone 4 is nu niet meer officieel te krijgen in het land waar ie geproduceerd wordt. Behalve natuurlijk op de zwarte markt, wat de grote aandrang mede bepaalde. Opkopers stuurden stromannen erop uit om de hele voorraad naar zich toe te trekken. De iPhone wordt dan ook tegen woekerprijzen verkocht. Voor prijzen die overeenkomen met voor de gemiddelde Chinese arbeider meer dan drie maandsalarissen!
De situatie zal tot ver in november blijven bestaan. Pad dan moet er weer genoeg voorraad.
